(MODEL OF THE UNITED NATIONS)

This activity is an extra-curricular academic simulation for students, of what takes place in the United Nations. Students learn diplomacy, play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real-world issues with policies and perspectives of an assigned country. Our students attend around 8 national and international models during the school year.

CIAMUN, our school’s internal model, began in 2010. At Colegio Integral El Avila, it’s more than an extracurricular activity—it’s a space for growth, friendship, and creating memorable experiences. Students approach it with passion, integrity, and a willingness to learn. They develop skills that benefit them in all aspects of life, including communication, leadership, and negotiation.
